Lenovo launches Legion 5i, Legion 5Pi and Legion 7i gaming notebooks in India: value, specifications and availability

After Lenovo has teased them for a few days, Lenovo officially launches the Legion 5i, Legion 5Pi and Legion 7i gaming notebooks in India. They can be ordered through the Lenovo Online Store and will be available in offline and retail stores in the coming days.

Lenovo Legion 5i

The Legion 5i is the cheapest gaming laptop Lenovo is launching in India today for a starting price of ₹79,990 ($1,072). It is powered by a 10th generation Intel Core i7-10750H processor with up to 6GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 2060 graphics and 16GB of 2,933 Hz DDR4 memory.

For storage, buyers of this laptop get either 1TB PCIe SSD or 1TB 7,200RPM HDD. Although all variants are equipped with a 15.6-inch FHD IPS LCD panel, buyers can choose a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, a color space of 100% sRGB and a maximum brightness of 300 nits.

Other features of this gaming notebook include WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, 4 x USB Type-A 3.1 Gen 1, 1 x USB Type-C 3.1 with DisplayPort, 1 x HDMI 2.0, 1 x RJ45, 3.5mm headphone jack, 2 x 2W Harman Kardon speakers, 720p webcam and a battery of up to 80 Wh.

Lenovo Legion 5Pi

The Lenovo Legion 5Pi is more expensive than the previous laptop from ₹1,34,990 ($1,810). This laptop shares all its specifications with the previous model. The difference between the two is that this model starts with a better configuration than the previous model and therefore has a higher starting price.

Another noticeable difference is that this gaming notebook is available in the color iron gray, while this one has a phantom black finish. This notebook will also be available later this month.

The other two laptops – Legion 5i and Legion 7i – are already available on Lenovo’s official website and will soon be available for purchase in retail stores and online portals.

Lenovo Legion 7i

The Legion 7i is the most expensive gaming laptop Lenovo is launching today at a starting price of ₹1,99,990 ($2,682). It is powered by a 10th generation Intel Core i9 H-series processor with up to 32GB of 2,933MHz DDR4 memory, 8GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 2080 SUPER Max-Q graphics and up to 1TB PCIe SSD.

Lenovo Legion 7i

It has a 15.6-inch FHD-IPS LCD screen with a color range of up to 100% sRGB, 500 nits peak brightness and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. In terms of connectivity and connections, it is equipped with WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, 3 x USB Type A 3.1 Gen 1, 1 x USB Type C 3.1 with Thunderbolt/DisplayPort/HDMI, 1 x USB Type C 3.1 Gen 1 with DisplayPort 1.4, 1 x HDMI 2.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, 1 x RJ45, 3.5mm headphone jack and 1 x power connector.

Further features are 2 x 2 W Dolby Atmos speakers, a 720p webcam and a battery with up to 80 Wh.
